I'm scared for the future of our society

What the hell is wrong with this site and the people on it? Are you all idiots? What the fuck is the matter with you? I'm sick and tired of seeing poetry with no form or structure, using the same buzzwords (blood, black, sorrow, hate, broken, heart, broken-hearted). You fucking morons! You inarticulate, melodramatic, pathetic excuses for teenagers need to grow the fuck up! Am I the only 16 year old who doesn't cut themselves anymore? I'm sick and tired of seeing artwork, and I use the term artwork loosesly, that glorifies cutting. It's idiotic. Don't try to tell me it's a way to deal with it. The only way to deal with it is to get help.

This is what I see:
A poem about cutting ones wrists. The poem doesn't read well, the poem isn't written well. It's not origonal. It's like countless other poems that you would find on this site. Nothing special, and no descernable meaning behind it. The only way you can tell it's about cutting wrists and depression is because of the repeated words found in every poem like it, and the picture is of the "poets" wrist, covered in red pen, taken poorly with a digital camera or webcam. You know what? That's not art. That's not origonal, interesting, or meaningful.

Go fuck yourselfs.

You guys are all idiots. I'm tired of that crap. It's so hard to find a good poem on this site because so many people think they are poets and post crap. I used to think I could write poetry. I'm not that great at it, so I stopped posting it and continued writing, without posting it. (that was a little note explaining why I am not a hypocrit; if anyone who replies to this does, you will be wrong). All the crap on this site just keeps piling up and people still comment saying things like "this is good!" or "i love it!" but do you really? How could you love crap? You need to get a fucking brain.

I've said this time and time again, comments are for critiques, and "I love it!!!!1" is NOT a critique. It doesn't help anyone and it sure as shit isn't helping the "poet" improve on their crappy writing! I'm sick of the stupid-ass bullshit, thoughtless, shallow, idiotic comments that people write on this stupid-ass site.

I'm also tired of vain, idiotic teenage girls who think they're individuals because they cut themselves and write "xalonexandxbrokenx" in a notebook and post it as art. and as "Graffiti" no less. It makes me so angry when people like that, and it's not just girls, claim to be different and unique. You are not unique if you like fucking blink 182. Yes, I am making a very specific refrence to a certain "deviant" on this "community", but my point still stands! Kids like her are a dime a dozen on this site. I'm tired of it. People like that are pathetic.

I want a revolution of intelligence and creativity. I want our generation to be important. I want proper grammar, and correct spelling. Everyone can make mistakes, but they should be mistakes, not just idiocy. "ur" is not a word. "lol" means nothing. You are on the internet. You are typing. You HAVE TIME to write out words! Hahahaha is just as easy to write as lol. You are a moron if you can't be bothered to type out "your". It's four fucking letters.

I don't claim to be perfect, and I'm not asking anyone else to. I'm just sick of suffering these IDIOTS who think they're origonal for reasons mentioned earlier.

This site is supposed to be somewhat of an online art gallery, right? Then where is the art? I've seen such brilliant work on this website, and I've seen such pathetic crap. Just because you CAN post anything you want and say it's art, and probably have someone give you a comment like "good!" or "hehe^_^" doesn't mean you SHOULD. Before you post your crap-tastic art, you should learn to draw.

In my mind, the definition of art is anything, just so long as you create it with the intent of making it art. If you hang a shovel on the wall, it's not art. But if you hang a shovel on the wall and say "Yes, this is art!" Then that my friend, IS art. Art should, therefore, have either technical skill, or a purpose (and hopefully both) behind it. Therefore, your pathetic notebook which you think is so precious and origonal, is NOT art. Where's the technical skill? You CAN NOT tell me that there is technical skill there, because the drawings are crude and unrefined. As for meaning, that's debateable and I wouldn't be easily convinced you wrote those pages with the INTENT for making art. I believe you were trying, though you failed misserably, to articulate your feelings at the moment. Maybe if you wanted to do that, you could have done it in a more eloquaint or interesting and possibly eye-capturing way. The method of writing cliched sentences and lyrics which are not your own is not an origonal method or an interesting one. If you call it art, ask yourself, would you put it in a gallery? Would anyone accept your notebook in a gallery? No. Your shitty notebook is NOT art and posting CRAP on deviant art is not a good cry for help. A GOOD cry for help would have been to talk to someone about your problems. Case closed.

The long and short of it is that alot of people on this website suck and I'm done with it. I'm tired of looking through crap to find anything interesting, and I hate this site for perpetuating pathetic, moronic, unintelligent subcultures that glorify mediocrity and mind-numbing trendyness. I'm sick of the word sex being used as an adjective. Shut the FUCK up.
